When I was a child, no one told me they were proud of me. I mostly heard how disappointing I was. But, I am finally proud of myself.

My mother's coldness washed away the blood we might have shared & the love we could have had. It turns out blood is not thicker than water.

This past year and a half taught me a lot about the lie of "productivity" and how procrastination can be preferable.
